The Purple classroom caters to children aged between 2.3-3.0 years. There are four adults caring for the 16 daily attending children. This includes a teacher, an assistant, and two nannies. It is a fully equipped Montessori classroom with many age appropriate Educational toys. The 'Absorbent Mind' period begins in this age group. This is the period when conscious learning begins to appear. Children learn from their environment by direct interaction with the core Montessori materials. They start to work on colors, numbers, shapes and counting, but mostly focusing on developing their independence. They begin to have a more structured day to prepare them for the next class. They also work on daily living skills, puzzles, social skills, language, art, and music.
